Peter Kater Wins Grammy Nomination
I'm very pleased and excited to announce my Grammy Nomination for my FACES OF THE SUN recording for BEST NEW AGE
album.   This is my 4th Grammy nomination in the last 5 years.    It's a great honor to be nominated this year along with such great
artists as the Paul Winter Consort, Otmar Liebert, Kitaro and Eric Tingstad.   Plus going to the 50th Anniversary Grammy
Celebration on Feb. 10th, 2008 as a nominee should be a lot of fun.

FACES OF THE SUN, on the SilverWave Record label, is an upbeat and highly produced recording with some wonderful guest
artists such as Tony Levin (Bass player for Peter Gabriel and King Crimson): Paul McCandless (world renowned reed player and
co-founder of the avantgarde jazz group, OREGON) and Native American flutists Mary Youngblood, Joseph FireCrow, Kevin
Locke, Jeff Ball and Douglas Blue Feather; Native American violinist Arvel Bird, and Native Vocalist and guitarist Bill Miller to
name a few.   I'm very proud of this recording and very honored to have so many talented players involved.
