On May 1, 2003, Dan Paltjon sustained a serious spinal cord
injury while playing a recreational game of softball.  Dan is
an alumnus of Green Brook Middle School and Watchung
Hills Regional High School.   His wife, Jackie, gave birth to
their first child in December 2003.  Dan is presently
undergoing rigorous physical therapy.  With the help of family
and friends, Dan and Jackie are working hard on his long road
to recovery.

A fund has been established to assist Dan and his family in
paying the enormous medical expenses associated with his
recovery.
